Officially, Chile announced that on arrival in the country U.S. citizens will no longer need to pay the $160 reciprocity fee that has been in effect for many years. Patagonian-BaseCamp Week ending March 7 Report

Published March 7th, 2014 by Jean Chaintreuil

It's Friday morning now, a fantastic group of 9 anglers just left Patagonian-BaseCamp for their transfer to the Chaiten airport and I am going over the weekly angling logs the guides wrote up and I am checking the photos of the week. It was just a fantastic week. Beautiful weather, clear rivers, spectacular fishing and just a lot of fun topped-off by a great farewell party last night. The feast included a “to-die-for” lamb meal, and even live music performed by Dave. At the end, guides climbed on the dinner table for a little "board walk action". Fun, fun, fun!
