Come fish Florida’s Gulf Coast with noted
guide, outdoor writer, and TV host, Captain Gene Zamba. The
fishing on the West coast of Florida is often called “A
Fisherman’s Paradise”. World-Class Tarpon fishing. Flats fishing
for snook, redfish, sea trout, permit, shark and much more make
this hot spot ideal for the traveling angler. Light tackle and
fly-fishing these flats is a challenging and rewarding experience.
THE FISHING: You will enjoy some of the most
exciting fishing available near Tarpon Springs, Florida. These
trips are targeted for the big Tarpon that inhabit our shoreline
as well as Redfish, Snook, Trout, Cobia, Grouper, etc. There are
other species of fish that are worth a cast. Ladyfish (we call
them the poor mans Tarpon) run up to 7 pounds and give you a
thrill on a fly rod or light tackle. Jacks (in the permit family),
never seem to quit and will test your fishing skills to the max.

| RATES: Florida Fishing Adventures offer
their services in three distinct combinations. First, you can
simply hire Captain Gene to guide you for a partial or full
day of fresh or saltwater fishing only - no lodging is
included. Next, fishing and Bed and Breakfast, includes
multiple day lodging and fishing combinations and home cooked
country breakfast each morning. Last are the all-inclusive
fishing and deluxe lodging packages, which add gourmet
dinners. Full day guide for two is about $400 per day. Call us for more specific pricing
based on your fishing and lodging desires or requirements.

LOCATION: The lodge is located on a secluded
canal on Lake Tarpon, a short drive from the Florida cities of
Clearwater, Tampa and St. Petersburg.
SEASON: All year.
HOW TO GET THERE: Fly or drive to the Tampa
area. Please contact us for specific fishing
and guiding information.
Travel
Adventures will be happy to assist with all of your travel
arrangements to any of our destinations, including air,
extended stays, sightseeing tours, other "stops in route",
shuttles, airport transfers, rental cars, etc.
