Telford's concept in guided fishing specializes in one or two anglers per guide, and therefore ensures personal attention, especially planned to meet the angler's preferences.  Some anglers who have not been to New Zealand, have unrealistic expectations.  In comparison to most other places the fishing is hard. In New Zealand, the fish are not as numerous as in other parts of the world, but their size is something else....

THE FISHING:  Sight fishing for large rainbows and browns fishing the rivers, streams, lakes in the Otago and Southland regions of New Zealand's South Island.

THE SOUTHERN CIRCUIT:  Here is a trip that allows an angler to fish in remote areas which is 'off the beaten track' and too far from a normal base, to be visited on a one day trip.  It's a trip for the real enthusiast.  A five day circuit of some of the best waters in Otago and Southland (New Zealand's South Island).  This trip is to let yourself indulge in the pursuit of New Zealand's big, resident, Brown and Rainbow trout.  It is tailor-made to suit your requirements and very flexible.  Seasonal variations will often dictate the outcome of this adventure.  You will see New Zealand fishing at its best.  And it is also full of surprises!

All transportation, food and accommodation is included.  You will find yourselves in a fisherman's hut one night and in a local pub the next.  You'll be visiting waters that only the locals know about.  Details are always subject to change to insure the best trip.

HOW TO GET THERE:  Fly to Queenstown (ZQN), via Christchurch (CHC) and/or Auckland (AKL), NZ.
