THE FISHING:  Costa Rican sport fishing is world renowned for its variety and quality.  The Golfo Dulce and the surrounding waters are the premier fishing grounds in all of Costa Rica.  Great offshore fishing is found within 45 minutes.  Inshore and river fishing are within a stones throw of our dock.  Offshore fishing for billfish, Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna is the most dramatic and exciting of all fishing experiences.  It is the most popular adventure.  Snapper, Jack Cravelle, Amberjack and African Pompano abound around the structures of the deep waters of the Golfo Dulce.  Roosterfish are around at all depths in the Golfo Dulce.  Roosterfish is pound for pound one of the most aggressive fish in all of these fertile waters.  Beautiful and tranquil waters passing through many square miles of mangroves in small channels and large rivers provide the setting for an extraordinary river fishing experience.  Mangrove Snapper, Snook, and Corbina lay just beneath the submerged roots waiting to strike.

RATES 2003:

ACCOMMODATIONS AND CAPACITY:  Relax in air-conditioned rooms, each with it's own tiled bath, large beds with orthopedic mattress, plenty of hot water, and clean towels.

INCLUSIONS:  Airport transfers in San Jose, one night lodging in San Jose when necessary, airfare from San Jose to Golfito (and return), transfers from the airport in Golfito to the camp in Zancudo (and return), all meals and beverages while at camp, boat, captain, mate, lunch and beverages while on the water, fishing licenses, and all taxes.

EXCLUSIONS:  Meals and beverages in San Jose, gratuities,  items of a personal nature, etc., and airport departure taxes.

HOW TO GET THERE:  International flight to San Jose (SJO), Costa Rica, then a domestic airline (Sansa Airlines) flight to the Zancudo-Golfito area airport.
