The resort is surrounded by rivers, streams and lakes that have attracted worldwide acclaim from trout fly fishing enthusiasts since the early 1900's when the area became known as "The Angler's Paradise".

Season Information

Taupo Rivers and Lakes are open all season with the exception of some areas that are closed from May 31 to December 1 to protect spawning fish. Elsewhere in the Central North Island, the season is from October 1 to June 30.

All units have full kitchens, full bathrooms, central heating, TV, radio, etc., and full daily servicing.

On site facilities include 2 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens, heated swimming pool, hot spa pool, free gas BBQs, fish cleaning area, fish smoker, etc., and a fully licensed restaurant that is open for dinner 6 nights a week (usually closed on Sunday nights). Room service breakfast (cooked or Continental) is available every day.

HOW TO GET THERE: Fly to Auckland (AKL) and Taupo (TUO), NZ

LOCATION: Turangi, on the shores of Lake Taupo, within what many consider to be New Zealand's best wild trout fishery. Pristine waters and crystal clear streams are signature qualities of the district.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Quiet, private, spacious, fully serviced ground floor suites with their own patios surround an all year heated swimming pool and hot spa ... all set in 3½ acres of mature native trees, shrubs and lawns. Rooms have television, radio, full bat, full kitchen, central heat, and telephones. Fine restaurant on the property.
