Calgary and the Bow River
Fly Fishing Trip or Lodge Details:
Fish the Bow River while using the Shangarry Bed & Breakfast as you home
away from home.
THE FISHING: The Bow offers a myriad of opportunities as it changes
character on its journey from a freestone river in the wilds of Banff
National Park to a somewhat tamer tail water upon passing through Calgary.
The lower Bow River then provides 55 kilometers of nutrient rich water below
the city of Calgary which is renowned for the size and abundance of
catchable-sized fish; home to monster browns, turbo-powered rainbows, and an
incredible summer caddis hatch.
